Frameless glass — and the systems that pair with it

Frameless glass is the most-requested railing we supply, and how it is mounted changes the whole look. U-channel base shoe gives a continuous clean line at the floor. Spigots read lighter and expose polished hardware. Standoffs mount to a fascia or stringer where floor space is tight. Stainless balusters suit longer runs and heavier loads. Glass is tempered or laminated safety glass to SGCC safety-glazing standards.

The rest of the program covers stainless steel cable for horizontal infill, stainless steel rod for a crisper look with the same open sightline, aluminum in both deck railing and post-and-glass formats, and hand-forged wrought iron for traditional work.

Stairs, balconies, terraces, and decks

Each system is engineered to the application — interior stair runs, balcony guards, rooftop terraces, and exterior decks — and to meet IRC and IBC guard height, baluster spacing, and load requirements for that use.

Orders are drawing-first. We convert your elevations into shop-ready drawings, confirm post spacing and anchorage before fabrication, trial-assemble the run in the factory, and ship it in export-ready crates with brackets, posts, and seals included.

FAQ

Common questions about railings & balustrades

What railing systems do you carry?+

Frameless glass, stainless steel cable, stainless steel rod, aluminum deck and post-and-glass railing, and wrought iron.

How is frameless glass mounted?+

Four ways: U-channel base shoe, spigots, standoffs, and stainless balusters. The choice depends on the substrate, the drop, and how much hardware you want visible.

What glass do you use?+

Tempered or laminated safety glass, built to SGCC safety-glazing standards. Laminated is the usual call on balconies and terraces.

Do your railings meet US code?+

Systems are engineered to meet IRC and IBC requirements for guard height, the 4-inch-sphere baluster spacing rule, and guard loading. Send your drop height and application and we spec accordingly.

Where are these systems used?+

Stairs, balconies, terraces, and decks — on single-family homes, residential developments, and commercial buildings alike.

What is the lead time?+

About 25 to 35 days in production after drawings are confirmed, roughly eight weeks in total with freight.
